Gerry Coleman, Vice President
Gerry Coleman is the Vice President of First Call Services. Gerry has more than 26 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with expertise in Residential Central Air Conditioning System Design, Diagnostics, Installation, and Service; Energy Rating for Residential Homes; and Green Ratings for Residential Homes. He received his training at RETS in Fort Lauderdale, where he met Tom Franklin, President of First Call Services.
Following vocational school, Gerry began his career as a helper for a local air conditioning company in Fort Lauderdale. He progressed to a service technician and service manager over the next 13 years. Gerry and Tom formed First Call Services in 1996.
Gerry holds the following certificates:
- Florida State Certified Class “A” Air Conditioner Contractor
- RESNET (Residential Energy Services Network) & State of Florida Energy Rater
- Certifying Agent for Florida Green Building Coalition (FGBC)
- Certified Test, Adjust, and Balance of Residential Air Distribution Systems by the National Comfort Institute (NCI)
- Mitsubishi Black Diamond Dealer Factory Certified for Ductless Systems
- Certified for Zoned Air Distribution Systems for Residential Homes
- Dealer Certification for: Rheem, American Standard, Trane, & Carrier
Gerry supports his community by providing services through First Call Services for supported charities. In his spare time, he enjoys playing guitar and woodworking.
